Documentation for : LETTER.EXE
Copyright 1988 Infinity Design Concepts, Inc. All Rights Reserved
This program makes printing envelopes on the LaserJet+ series ][
or brother HL-8 laser printers a snap with the following steps,
1. Turn the printer on.
2. Put the envelope in the maual feed tray,
face up, with the top to the left
3. At the DOS prompt, type LETTER and hit ENTER.
4. Enter any or all of the information you like,
note that blank lines will not be printed
5. Note that control-C will abort the program.
NOTE: LETTER.EXE as originally released, is set up to print
business sized envelopes, if you wish to print on another
size, then you must change the source code. The LETTER.ASM
file is fully documented with where and how to make the
changes (they're really easy if you or your buddy has
access to an assembler program).
The information that you can be printed is as follows,
Name ........... (50 characters max)
Address line 1 . (50 characters max)
Address line 2 . (50 characters max)
City ........... (50 characters max)
State .......... (50 characters max)
Zip ............ (50 characters max)
Attention ...... (50 characters max)
If you leave any of the above lines blank, then it will
not be printed and the rest of the lines will be compressed
vertically. If you must have a blank line, then you must
enter at least one space on the line.
If you find this program of use, then you are urged to send in
the registration fee of $10.00. This will put you on our mailing
